March may be a month of finally decent weather in the UK, but it’s also the month where many of you will see your energy bills rise.

Price hikes announced by EDF Energy, Good Energy, Npower and Scottish Power on their standard tariffs all come into force this month.

Npower’s 9.8% increase £109 per year rise
Good Energy’s 11% increase £118 per year rise
Eon’s 8.8% increase £97 per year rise
First Utility’s 9.7% increase £102 per year rise
Utilita Energy’s 2.9% increase £50 per year rise

Many other suppliers like OVO and Co-Operative are also warning of a price hike this month, adding between £60- £120 to your annual bill.
