After many years of the ‘big six’ suppliers hiking prices for households across the UK, Theresa May has been urged by 50 MPs to issue an energy price cap on the ‘Big Six’ companies to prevent millions of Brits from being ripped off.

Many households are paying more than they need to for energy and after the recent prices hikes from many of the UK suppliers, is it now that the Government finally do something about it?

Unfortunately, it’s not as simple as it sounds. Many factors affect what price you pay for your electricity and gas. From geographic location to meter type to contract terms. So it’s going to be interesting to see how the government plans to rectify the issue.

If you think you’re paying too much, get in touch and see how much you can save today.
